Custom Design Changes

Ask many builders to make modifications to their plans, and you’re likely to hear one of two things – “NO”, or “Cha-ching!”.  At Regal, we strive to build the house you want, and spend time before construction to make the modifications that will help the home fit your lifestyle, all included in our turnkey pricing.

We’ll sit down at the start of the process to discuss how you and your family live, what is “must-have” important in your new home, what your sense of style is, and where your budget is. Many home buyers even bring in pictures of homes that they have seen which they like various features of.  From there, we will work to modify the plans based on your needs – moving interior walls, drawing alternative kitchen layouts, moving doors, adjusting dimensions. Just as important, we’ll work on the front elevation of the home to match your style – be it craftsman, colonial, french country, or contemporary. Having all our drafting completed internally gives us tremendous flexibility in quickly completing drawings to meet your needs and expectations.

Not everyone has the ability to completely visualize their house by looking at blueprints.  We use the most current CAD (computer aided design) technology to not only draw the floor plans, but to also generate realistic 3-D renderings of your house to help you visualize what the final constructed home will look like.
